What can I expect on Sunday?

At Tacoma Christian Reformed Community Church you can feel free to dress as casual or as formal as you like. We encourage you to come as you are. Our Sunday services offer a variety of contemporary and traditional styles that give us the opportunity to have a meaningful and deeper praise and worship experience with Jesus. We see worship music at our Sunday services as a catalyst for living a life of worship throughout the week. Our Sunday services are about an hour in length.

You can expect our Sunday services at 9 & 11:11 AM to consist of the following sections of sheer awesomeness:

  • We will pray together
  • We will sing together
  • We will share in God's Word together
  • We will hang out together over some coffee, tea, juice and some other goodies

We also include Adult Sunday School Sessions from 10:20-11:00 AM. For more information, please see our church calendar or ask any of our friendly ushers/greeters when you arrive. We are looking forward to meeting you!

What about my kids?

Just like Jesus, we love kids! We strongly believe in the investment of time and resources to the next generation-it is a part of who we are! Your children are more than welcome to their age-appropriate options. During our Sunday services, children ages 3-7 attend our Children's Church service made just for them!

All the kids from Preschool through High School have Sunday School opportunities from 10:20-11:00 AM. We also have nursery for infants - 3 year olds. When you arrive, you can approach our greeting staff for anything you might need to know.

Our Community Kids Ministry (Cadets for the boys and GEMS for the girls) includes quality approaches for children from 1st -5th grade on alternating Wednesdays from 7-8:30 PM (please confirm with our church calendar for more details) . We also have our Community Youth Ministry called The Force every Wednesday evening from 7-8:30 PM for youth in Middle School through High School. All of the programs in our Community Kids Ministry run throughout the course of the school year.

What's the best way to get connected at TCRCC?

Community Groups! Here at TCRCC, we place a high value on biblical community through a life group environment for all ages. We believe that God’s love is best experienced in an authentic and loving family-like ambient that happens in Community Groups. Community groups have many different individual building blocks: men, women, adults, students— located in many different areas, meeting in homes or at church, at different times during the week.

I want to make TCRCC my church home, what's next?

One of the  things we encourage you to do as soon as you sense TCRCC might become your church family, is to attend our membership sessions. These sessions will give you a good overview of who we are as a Community Church, and will be helpful to you as you consider whether TCRCC will become your church home. Think of it as taking a test drive with a new car. You’ll get the opportunity to look under the hood by discovering what is important to us, how we function, and most importantly how we can build community together!

These sessions are scheduled to take place on a Sunday morning in order to make it convenient. If you have children, they can easily attend Sunday school or the nursery during this time. In order to help us plan effectively for each set of sessions, we ask that you register ahead of time. To register, simply stop by the Welcome Center located in the main lobby.
