Clay & Naomi Warren
Hi! My name is Clay Warren and I am the Senior Pastor of Tacoma Christian Reformed Community Church.
I grew up in Northeastern Colorado and graduated from Denver Seminary in 1989. I have lived in Washington since 1991. I have had the privilege and pleasure of serving youth in three different churches for over 30 years, the last 16 of those years as the pastor of student ministries at TCRCC. I was called to be our Senior Pastor in June 2013.
My wife, Naomi, grew up in Puyallup and attended Rogers High School and Pacific Lutheran University. She worked as an administrator at Cascade Christian Schools for 20 years before retiring in the summer of 2014 to partner in ministry with me. We have two adult children, Danielle and Chad, who are both married and actively serving the Lord. I was a High School wrestling coach for 17 years. First as a volunteer coach at Puyallup High School and then as the Head Coach at Cascade Christian School. I enjoy many outdoor hobbies and activities.
In addition, I serve on the Board of Directors for the El Sauzal Foundation, which is a non-profit organization that supports the El Sauzal Orphanage in San Antonio de las Minas, Mexico.
My passion is to be used of God to build His church in Pierce County by offering a genuine active community which demonstrates the love, grace and life changing power of Jesus Christ. If you are not already experiencing this kind of community I invite you to join us!

Youth & Worship Director
My family and I are originally from Puerto Rico, a commonwealth territory island of the United States. I knew I wanted to be a pastor from the age of 9. Fell in love with music at the age of 8, when I first touched a guitar. Since then, God has taken me on quite the journey. I realized the first of my official biblical studies in New Jersey where I attended the Rabbinical College of America for almost 3 years. I went on to continue my theological studies in Liberty University and finished my degree with Phoenix University.
I met the love of my life in Puerto Rico, and we have two wonderful children. We both had very successful careers, yet felt like at some point, God would call us into full time ministry. He did- at Tacoma Christian Reformed Community Church.
I have 11+ years of experience in youth & worship ministries, and have been serving in that capacity here at TCRCC. We have been working with our ministry areas tirelessly to give the best to our youth that our church has to offer; preparing them for future ministry and college life.
My vision is to create a place for our church, youth & adults alike, where they feel that they belong. I believe God has called us to community and that's what we're gonna do. Youth Group is a place that is different from the rest, something to refresh our teens from their never-ending schedules to focus on being the best versions of themselves they can be in Jesus. Community begins in the heart.
Our hope, is to be a part of what God is doing at TCRCC, where we are doing our part alongside some seriously awesome volunteers. Believe me when I say, your kids are welcome here. We loved 'em before they agreed to visit, and we have been praying for them before they walk through the door. #theforcerox
Hi, my name is Kristin Wolter, and I have been the Office Manager at Tacoma CRCC since 2011.
I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, with TCRCC being my childhood church home. So many great memories and the love for the people and traditions of this church shape how I approach my job.
College and marriage moved me from the mountains and water of the PNW to the complete opposite beauty of the Midwest. We raised registered Belgian draft horses, spent endless hours mowing in the hot summer sun, went tubing behind our quads in the winter and spent many summer evenings watching the sun set as we cooled off by the lake. Living in the Midwest began my love of running and doing as much as I could outdoors.
After 20 years in the Midwest, my husband, Delane, our three daughters, Madison, Paige, Camryn, and I moved back to the Pacific Northwest. Currently, I enjoy anything that has to do with my family – trying to catch as many of our girls’ activities as possible. Watching the sun rise while out on a run has become a great time of prayer and praise. Every morning God shows His beauty - whether it is in the rain or the frost or the promise of a wonderfully warm summer day.
It has been great coming back to Tacoma CRCC and being able to assist in an organization where the work that we do may have lasting impact beyond what we will see “here”. Come visit us! The Tacoma congregation is a warm and loving church family committed to knowing Christ and making Him known. We can’t wait to meet you!
Jay De Boer
Hello! I'm Jay De Boer, and I have served as the church Administrator at TCRCC since 2011.
It’s the best job I’ve ever had! I enjoy watching people serve and live out their passions. So fun!! I love visiting with the Council and Ministry Leaders, dreaming about how to further the Mission of the church.
My favorite time is meeting with the other Staff members and working out the details of ministry. Additionally I serve as Regional Manager for World Renew Disaster Response Service (formerly CRWRC). World Renew is an agency of the Christian Reformed Church. With World Renew, I have had the opportunity to interact and work with governmental; non-governmental; and other Faith-based organizations who are also in the business of helping others. It just doesn’t get any better than that! I meet those who have been impacted by disaster. I learn so much from those who have lost so much.
Prior to this, I spent many years in Industry. Those years in management along with serving in leadership roles in two other churches have prepared me for what I’m doing now. But…every day is an opportunity to learn more!
Learning about how God uses people, even me, in some small way. My wife Verna and I love spending time with our three adult children, and I enjoy just about anything related to sports!
